NASDAQ-100 — американский фондовый индекс. В индекс включаются 100 крупнейших по капитализации компаний, акции которых торгуются на бирже NASDAQ. В индекс не включаются компании финансового сектора.
История
История индекса начинается в 1985 году, когда одновременно было введено 2 новых индекса: NASDAQ-100 и NASDAQ Financial-100. В первый индекс были включены промышленные высокотехнологичные компании, во второй — финансовые.
Функционирование индекса началось на отметке 250 пунктов.
В 1998 году в индекс были допущены иностранные компании. Изначально требования к ним были строгие, но были смягчены в 2002 году.
Максимум был достигнут индексом в 2000 году на волне дот-комов, когда был достигнут уровень в 4700 пунктов.
